How to Find and Unlock Stitch

Hidden away within a multi-part quest that spans ten days, you'll discover Stitch, our loveable blue alien friend, has finally made his way to Dreamlight Valley. But unfortunately, getting Stitch to appear in the Valley is quite the process as you'll need to find the locations of all three stolen socks that have been scattered about the areas.

So whether you're chasing the locations of the mysterious slimy socks, wondering how long you'll need to wait between each item appearing, or simply looking to find the owner of the socks, we've got you covered in our complete guide to unlocking Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Finding Stitch is a rather complicated process, so we've broken down each quest and step below to help you bring the loveable blue alien to your Valley as quickly as possible.

When searching Dazzle Beach, you'll discover a small slimy stocking on the ground - while the location can be random, we found ours on the small island near Goofy's cart.

Once you've collected the Slimy Stocking, give the item to Donald, who will state that the sock now has bite marks and spit all over it - almost as if somebody tried to eat it.

Coupled with the fact that Donald has had several items disappear from his house and noticing a bunch of funny lights streaking across the sky over the beach the last few nights, he suspects something fishy is going on.

Following your conversation, make your way over to Donald's house and head inside, where you'll need to begin searching for clues by removing the five piles of trash that are found spread all over the floor.

Upon removing the trash, you'll discover a strange device - bring it to Donald, which he'll believe is an item left behind by the aliens who were stealing from his house.

Learning that the machine can help us catch the sock thieves, he'll ask you to keep an eye out for any more missing socks or lights in the sky. But, there's a catch, as you'll need to wait at least five days between finding additional items.

Five days after finding Donald's sock, you'll discover another lone sock on the ground in Peaceful Meadow. Again, though, we found ours by one of the ponds closest to the southern Dazzle Beach entrance, but the location can differ between players.

Once you've collected the Chewed-Up Sock, return it to its owner, Goofy. Learning that he too saw funny lights in the sky before it went missing, we can only assume that it's all tied together.

Learning that Goofy's house is also filled with piles of rubbish, make your way to his house and head inside. After removing all trash piles, you'll discover another clue - blue fur!

Finding some mysterious blue fur inside one of the piles, bring the clue to Donald. Upon speaking with Donald, he'll use the fur on the strange device, revealing a stronger DNA match. Still unable to reach a 100% match, you'll need to discover one more clue.

After waiting five more days, you'll discover that yet another sock - a Knitted Orange Sock to be exact - can be found when visiting the Forest of Valor. While we found our sock by the stream, next to a large boulder close to the entrance to Frosted Heights, yours may be located somewhere else along the stream.

After narrowing things down, speak with Merlin, where you'll learn that the sock belongs to him. However, much like Donald and Goofy, Merlin too reveals some strange encounters, where he shares that someone has been pilfering books and causing a great commotion in the Dreamlight Library.

Needing answers, make your way to Merlin's library and head inside. Search for the left behind trash piles, where you'll discover a Mysterious Claw.

With this new discovery, find Donald and speak with him. Using the strange device once again, where it'll reveal a DNA match, as well as details regarding a landing protocol.

Just to be safe, Donald suggests placing the strange device on the island closest to Skull Rock - place the device by using the Furniture tab via your Inventory.

Upon placing down the device, you'll enter a short cutscene that sees Stitch's spaceship crashing onto the island. Exiting the ship, speak with Stitch.

After speaking with Stitch, return to Donald and explain the situation, where he'll suggest asking Scrooge McDuck to help build Stitch a home in the Valley.

Having spoken to Donald, it's time to place Stitch's house in Dreamlight Valley - you'll find it under the furniture tab when visiting your Inventory.

Constructing the house won't be cheap, though, as once placed, it'll set you back 10,000 Star Coins to construct it. Once Stitch's house is built, speak to him one final time to conclude the mission.
